2013 Greatest Loser Round 1 (Spring Session)
6-Week Competition May 6 - June 14, 2013
In order to register for the 6-week Greatest Loser competition, you must come to the MHRFC Front Desk to sign up for the team (time slot) you wish to participate in for the workouts.
Registration Ends April 29th!
Please know that you are signing up for a 6-week workout program. Results will vary, but best results are seen when participants fully participate.
We are only accepting the first 50 people in each group, so first come, first serve!*
The 51st person in each time slot will be referred to the next available team opening.
*A message will be sent to all Wellness Warriors when registration is full.
This program is only open to 2013 Wellness Warriors only. Program is FREE of cost.
This program will count towards one (1) event attendance to earn the Mid-Year Incentive. Simply registering will not count as one (1) event attendance. Participation is expected.
Initial weigh-ins will be conducted Monday, May 6, 2013 before your scheduled workout time. Please arrive at least 20-25 minutes BEFORE your scheduled workout time to weigh in.
There will be (3) three teams that will each meet (3xs) weekly at MHRFC:
Green Team: M/W/F @ 7:00-8:00 a.m.
Black Team: M/W/F @ 12:00-1:00 p.m.
Gold Team: M/W/F @ 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Once the program starts, switching teams is prohibited.
Each team will have select personal trainer(s) as team leader(s). Their function is to provide advice and workouts for the whole group. Workouts with your personal trainer will consist of strength training and cardio. They get creative with the workouts, mix things up and keep participants on the right track!
Weigh-ins will take place every week on Monday before your team's workout session. ARRIVE EARLY to weigh in!

Final weigh-in takes place Friday, June 14, 2013
Weekly results, final results and winners will be published on this website. Final winners will be published June 17th, 2013.
Point System & Winners
1 winner per team and 1 winning team overall will be determined by the following point system:
- Ten (10) Points per 1% if body weight loss; 0.1% body weight loss = 1 point
- One (1) Point per team session with your team
- One (1) Point per weekly Exercise log turned in
The TOP 3 WINNERS (1 from each team) will receive: (1) (60 Minute) Personal Training Session
Winning TEAM will receive 1 team workout session.
Please Note: Contact your doctor before starting any weight loss or exercise program. The Greatest Loser Program is intended to provide exercise education. We cannot guarentee weight loss and we are not supporting taking drastic measures to lose weight. Please ask the Mort Harris Recreation and Fitness Center if you have any questions.
